Our small batch artisanal ice creams and sorbets are handmade and packed full of the finest and freshest ingredients available. You can find us churning away in our factory in the heart of Ballito, where we try to keep as many of our jobs in our kitchen as manual as possible to help with job creation.

  • All of our ice creams and sorbets (except Vanilla Chocolate Brownie) are gluten free
  • Our sorbets are all vegan.
  • Our Innocent range offers low and no sugar options.
  • We have a rotating selection of favourite seasonal flavours (this differs per month per store) and we introduce new limited edition flavours frequently. Please see a full list of flavours that you may see in rotation here.
  • Our ice cream is available in 250ml and 500ml tubs, to keep your freezer happy.
  • Our handmade sugar cones are available to purchase by the pack.
  • We provide wholesale options to hotels and restaurants. Speak to Amanda if you’re interested.

With us, happiness is not sold separately, it’s kind of the whole point really.

Some people love ice cream. Others love cake. Which is why we are here to provide you the best of both worlds. Ice cream cake.

Our ice cream cakes are all made bespoke, so that they are exactly what you want for your celebration.

It works a little like this.

  2. Choose your tower of Scoops.
  3. Choose your topping.

Our cakes are made to serve anywhere from 10 to 125 people in one cake. You read that right, but you can also eat it all by yourself if you’d like. It’s your birthday and we don’t judge.

Due to the care taken in every cake, we usually require 72 hours’ notice, but if your deadline is tight give us a call and we’ll see what we can do.

Imagine melting and then refreezing (right in front of your eyes) velvet.

Our Thai inspired Scoop Rolls are pretty much this, if velvet was delicious. You haven’t tasted smooth and creamy ice cream until you have had one of these.

Starting with a vanilla or chocolate base you:

  1. Choose your favourite toppings. (These include chocolate brownies, strawberries, Oreo, choc chip cookies, sprinkles and more).
  2. Choose your sauce (chocolate, caramel or strawberry)
  3. Then roll-up and watch us make magic.

Scoop on a stick

They said, stick to what you’re good at, so we did. Literally.

Scoop on a Stick is the natural next phase in our plan to take over the world (with its consent of course) and make people happy. What you can expect? Our same delicious artisanal Scoop flavours, which you know and love, but now served on a stick and available at various ‘cool’ spots in KZN.

Every day we’re waffleing. There is nothing more comforting than the way your Scoop gently melts into a hot waffle. The smell is pretty amazing too. Our bubble waffles are like pillows of toasted deliciousness and come highly recommended by taste buds everywhere. Also, waffles while you waffle… what’s not to love.

Our Tacos aren’t just for Tuesdays. Who would make a silly rule like that anyway. Our crispy shells are basically a remixed cone (a cone 2.0 if you will) curved instead of twisted. We like to call it a loving crunchy embrace around your Scoops, sauce and toppings.

Ice Cream Sandwiches were really cool once upon a time (we do of course mean that figuratively in this context). We’re quite sad about their fall from grace, because is there anything more nostalgic? Scoop your favourite and we will smash it between two home baked cookies. Now that’s a remastered classic.

Which flavours are available to choose for my cake?
We usually suggest a base of 70% chocolate or Madagascan Vanilla, but we totally understand that your favourite flavour might be different to ours, so take a browse through our every day flavours for some inspiration. Once you’ve chosen your base flavours, see which flavour combinations take your fancy for the tower of scoops piled on the top and if you’re in any doubt give us a call to discuss your needs.
What sizes do the cakes come in?
Our smallest cake is our 20cm Oreo cake which easily serves 10-15 people, but we can cater up to 125 people in one cake.
Are the cakes gluten free?
All of our ice creams & sorbets are gluten-free (except Vanilla Chocolate Brownie and Vanilla Birthday Batter).
How much freezer space do I need to store a cake?
Our smallest cakes require around 30cm diameter & 30cm in height. Chat to us about the size of our larger cakes.
How are the cakes packaged?
Our cakes come wrapped & securely packaged in a card board box.
How should I collect & transport the cakes?
Some people like to bring their own cool box to transport our cakes home in. Others are happy transporting them in the box they leave the shop in. As they are beautiful works of art, we dont recommend leaving them out of the freezer for any length of time, so make sure we are your last stop off on your way home to ensure they reach your freezer as quickly as possible.
How can I pay for the cake?
Payment is EFT before collection.
Where do I collect the cake from?

At any of our stores or our factory at: Unit 4, Villa Commercial Park, 5 Garlicke Drive, Ballito
Open: Monday to Saturday 8 am – 4pm

How do I serve the cake?
We recommend taking the cake out of the freezer 5 minutes before service, to allow the ice cream to soften slightly. Most people like to serve individual scoops from the cake, but we like to take a hot knife to the cake & serve it by the slice.
How long before the cake melts?
We usually find that the cake starts to melt after about 20 minutes; but this is of course weather-dependent.
How long can I keep the cake in the freezer?
One of the many benefits of ordering one of our ice cream cakes is the fact that it stays fresh in your freezer long after your function has been & gone. So if by some small chance you have left overs after your party, you’ll find the ice cream is still good for
another month or so.
